Quote on Finding What You Want in Life

May 5, 2008

“What you are seeking is also seeking you.” James Arthur Ray, The Science of Success

When I remind myself of this, my dreams feel less separated from me (and me from them) than if I were to think, “I’m the one doing all the looking.” I fully believe that everything in life is comprised of energy, and that energies vibrating at like frequencies attract each other. Therefore, it’s less that I’m chasing my dreams and more so that my dreams and I are both looking for each other. Almost as if we’re at the same dance, just hanging out. It’s only a matter of time before we spot each other from across the room, do that familiar nod of agreement in each others’ direction, and begin tearing it up on the dance floor.

What I am seeking is also seeking me… Joy-invoking, indeed.
