Great Post On Living Life with Purpose Instead of Judgment

August 27, 2008

Dave Owen was nice enough to stop by this blog and comment. I love when new people comment, especially if they have blogs of their own. I always click through and check out what they’re up to. Some stay bookmarked on my favorites list, and I end up reading them regularly. That might have been how I met MikeTheory, and it’s how I recently found Vampire Gran’s Weblog and You Can’t Say That on the Internet (two different blogs by a beautiful couple who recently exchanged vows — inspirational is all I can say!).

In any case, Dave’s blog (I Choose Happiness: A Celebration of Life, Love & Happiness) had a great post that I just read and wanted to pass along. It’s about living life with purpose, which is a helpful way to abandon judgment. Dave says that, for him, when he’s concentrating on his life’s purpose, he doesn’t have time to sit in judgment of others. How wonderful! I’ve certainly found that to be true for me.

Take a read and share your thoughts.

Thanks for the mention in your blog. Katie and I love knowing that someone out there is reading about our lives together and getting the idea of how wonderful life is and can be. Thanks for sharing Dave’s blog with us. Take care and let me know when you are in Portland, I’ll have a special cupcake waiting for you!

    XO.
